We commenced practice in January 1993 under the name of ICH-DIEN Consultants initially, and later added UWANUAKWA OBIERI & CO in 1994 after obtaining practice license from Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria [ICAN]. We registered our firm, UWANUAKWA OBIERI & CO., with the office of the Auditor General for the Federation in year 2000


Principal Partner Tax and Corporate Services

Lady Ifeoma Deborah Obieri is the Principal Partner Tax and Corporate Services. She graduated from the Federal Polytechnic Oko, Anambra State, Nigeria in 2003 with HND (Upper Credit) in Accounting, and afterwards went to Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, Nigeria for B. Sc. also in Accounting which she completed in 2006. She later completed M. Sc. Accounting from the same University in 2011.

Lady Ifeoma joined ICH-DIEN: Audit (Chartered Accountants) in 1998 when she was employed as an Audit Clerk and she has been with the firm since then. She was promoted to the position of Trainee Accountant after she furthered her education and completed her National Youth Service in September 2005. She was promoted to the position of Manager in July 2010 after she completed the professional examinations of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). In 2013 she was admitted as one of the Partners of the firm and made the head of the Firm’s Onitsha Practice.

Lady Obieri is articulate and very observant. She is very religious and a Lady member of Knights of Mulumba in the Catholic Diocese of Orlu, Nigeria. She is presently the Secretary General of Catholic Women Organization of St. Stephen’s Parish, Federal Housing, Trans Nkisi, GRA, Onitsha, where she previously served as the Financial Secretary for three years. Ifeoma D. Obieri is happily married with three children, and hails from Akokwa, Ideato North, Imo State, Nigeria.
